Featured Tarot – The Sirian Starseed Tarot by Patricia Cori & Alysa Bartha

4 of Orbs

The Sirian Starseed Tarot by Patricia Cori

As promised, I shall be featuring a full review of this gorgeously illustrated new tarot deck and book set.

Leading up to that I have decided to feature individual cards, to give you a better understanding of the deck, its imagery and symbolism.

Samhain is upon us.Β  Upon this, the first day of the ancient Celtic festival, we honour the passing of the old year and our beloved ancestors, now in spirit.

We take time to reflect upon what has been achieved, and consider what must be released to take us safely through the dark half of the year.

How appropriate, then, that I should draw this card, showing a figure deep in meditation. Look into the shadowy depths of this image, and you will see all that you need to know.

The 4 Orbs, associated with the power of the mind and the element Air, reminds us that we need time to quiet the constant monkey chatter of the mind, to find a place of tranquillity were the raging tides of our emotions cannot cloud our thoughts.

The storm gathers, an issue must be resolved, but for now, slow the breath, ground yourself within the good earth and open yourself to your higher consciousness.

  1. You’re right, that’s a lovely card to pull! I shall make time to meditate later this afternoon – definitely plenty of monkey chatter here πŸ™‚

  2. I hear you! πŸ™‚ I love the orbs, reminding me to keep my chakras open and spinning freely and tonight, of all nights, to be open to spirit, the ancestors and the divine. xx
